Or; You run a Sheild, and don't be a nub and get yourself exhausted out. Keep the focus as a switch for when you really need that last clutch Shock.

This looks good. I expect this kind of thing is what GvG guilds are going to run in HA this weekend.
I'd have to say I'd rather have Res Sig than Leech Signet.

Build seems solid, but I would change Leech sig on mesmer for Rez sig as Vindexus suggested.
Also your build has the same problem as mine posted few threads below - it will get crushed by mass hex teams. And frankly I don't have idea what to do about it as giving Expel Hexes on mesmer would have to big hit on team's pressure power.

Well the build has three Hex removals and a Breaker. I'm tempted to change out Breaker for Veil, not sure though. There is also the ability to sit a Warrior on two of the hexers, and interrupt their hexes with Shock and DBlow, between making them kite. Alternatively switch the surger to one of the hexers.

Problem with warriors sitting on hexers is that warrior will have loads of hexes on them making them unable do be any threat. And surger under migraine also can't do anything vs hexers.
Yes the build has some hex removal - but for hex team able to get 10 hexes in matter of seconds it will be to less. Especially that insp hex - isn't that effective as hex remover - more like e-managment.
I'm also very concerned about it - as my build has the same problem. Maybe convert hexes on someone would be helpful. But on who? **wonders**

The +30 doesn't really enter into it - I can't honestly see why you'd run anything other than a +30/+1(20%) air focus. I guess the +5/+45 armour/health while enchanted is ok, but their should never be a health difference. So you're putting +16 AL, physical damage mod against +12 energy.

because you don't even need the focus the vast majority of the time. you can always be doing with +16AL and 30hp though.

I always run 9 in air when running shock war. I switch to the focus whenever it's needed (Shocking runner, Ghostly). Don't see why there's such a big argument here, Strength is over-rated and you're unlikely to see a difference in dmg if it's 10 rather than 13.

It was merely me thinking in GvG terms, where you don't ever want to get exhausted to the point that the focus would make a difference. I conceed that in the case of HA you may well need that extra energy to get off a clutch Shock on the opposing Hero.
Considering dropping the WoH Healer for a Blessed Light, to help counter Hexes.

I think this will be an outline of all builds to be seen during the weekend.

I run 8 air magic because I have a collector's offhand from the jungle with +10 energy +1 air magic (20%) health +30 offhand i use in a clutch, and because i prefer having 5 leftover points instead of 7 and kicking strength up a notch just because I can.
pve warriors ftw.
